Bee in the Woods Kindergarten Stanmer can be found behind the new One Garden development. Parking is located in the large Patchway carpark (straight on at the T junction after Stanmer House).
If you drive to the left of the carpark and park near the furthest end from the entrance, there is a small lane leading from the carpark directly to the Wellbeing Gardens and the Kindergarten. The Kindergarten gates are kept locked and visits are by appointment only.
There are bike lanes from Brighton town centre, along Lewes Road to Stanmer Park. Bike racks are available in the Patchway carpar and the Kindergarten is a short walk from there. Allow approx 25mins to cycle from town centre to our location.
Bus numbers 23, 25, 25X, 28 and 29 buses run between the centre of Brighton and the entrance to Stanmer Park. The number 78 bus goes from Old Steine, central Brighton to Stanmer village. Brighton Bus timetables
The nearest train station is Falmer Station. Four trains an hour go to Falmer during the day. Allow a 30min walk/10 minute cycle from Falmer train station to the Kindergarten. Train times.
Stanmer Park is just off the A27 between Brighton and Lewes. The best postcode, if you are using sat nav, is BN1 9SE, which is The One Garden. The closest car park (Patchway car park) is straight on past Stanmer House. Parking costs from £1/£1.50 per hour up to £6.50 per day, although there will be a 15minute drop off/pick up window of no charge.
